Requirements
- Approximately 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong programming expertise in modern software development environments.
- Experience working within security-sensitive or compliance-regulated environments (FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Solid understanding of application security principles (authentication, authorization, encryption, audit logging).
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with distributed systems and modern development practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience mentoring peers and contributing to engineering culture.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance product features within secure and compliance-regulated cloud environments.
- Build and maintain capabilities tailored to government cloud deployments, including authentication systems and compliance controls.
- Create abstractions, developer tools, and automation frameworks to simplify development and deployment.
- Improve platform observability, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- Identify and remediate security gaps to align with government standards.
- Collaborate with product, design, and compliance teams.
- Mentor engineers on secure software development practices.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities.
