Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, security consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
- Strong expertise in cloud security and network security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, micro-segmentation, and zero-trust architectures.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Proven experience supporting complex enterprise B2B sales cycles with measurable impact on pipeline, win rates, and revenue outcomes.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, SDN/NFV, DevSecOps practices, Kubernetes/container security, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into clear business value and solution differentiation.
- Experience with Salesforce and MEDDPICC methodology preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degrees or certifications (CISSP, CCSP, cloud security certs) are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical security advisor across the sales cycle, leading discovery sessions, identifying customer security requirements, and translating them into scalable cloud architecture solutions.
- Design, present, and validate tailored security architectures, including demos, proofs of concept, and technical workshops aligned to enterprise requirements.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, ensuring accurate and compelling technical positioning of solutions.
- Partner with Account Executives and channel teams to shape territory strategy, qualify opportunities, and accelerate complex sales cycles.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior security stakeholders, including CISOs, security architects, and network engineering leaders.
- Provide deep technical input on cloud security, zero-trust architecture, and multi-cloud networking to support competitive differentiation and deal execution.
- Capture customer feedback and market insights to inform product direction, competitive strategy, and future innovation.
- Represent the organization at industry events, technical forums, and customer workshops as a thought leader in cloud security.
