Requirements
- Min. 8 years of DevOps, system administration/debugging experience, and scripting.
- 2+ years of Team Lead/people management experience.
- Proficiency in Shell, Python, Java, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Strong understanding of L4/L7 load balancing (HAProxy/Nginx).
- Understanding of network performance tuning (TCP/IP stack).
- Knowledge of pipeline/orchestration tools like Jenkins/Airflow.
- Knowledge of observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, InfluxDB).
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux.
- Bachelor degree in a technical major.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated provisioning pipelines (PXE, ZTP) for bare-metal servers.
- Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for system administration tasks.
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify potential intrusions.
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades, and upgrade administrative tools.
- Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.
- Act as a technical lead and mentor for the infrastructure team.
- Report directly to CTO and partner with tech teams on reliability and incident response.
