Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with specialized vessels.
- Experience with marine power plants, propulsion control systems, and automation.
- Experience with navigation and marine electronics in naval or merchant marine environment.
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Preferred: Experience with FMEA and PSTP.
- Preferred: Proficiency with SKM, MathCAD, Adobe Pro, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical load analyses, fault current analyses, and protective device coordination.
- Develop contract and in-house designs.
- Perform troubleshooting and First Article Testing.
- Conduct surveys, inspections, and ship checks.
- Perform electrical calculations and create schematics.
- Develop EPLA, protective device coordination studies, and EPDID.
- Collaborate on FMEA and PSTP for U.S. Coast Guard approvals.
