Requirements
- Excellent technical skills in Python, SQL, and statistics.
- Extensive knowledge of the credit industry, products, data, and regulations.
- Hands-on experience across the lifecycle of credit risk models (scoping, data curation, optimization, deployment, monitoring).
- Successful track record of managing complex projects with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring and coaching senior individual contributors.
- Previous experience managing data and model governance in a regulated business.
Responsibilities
- Manage a small team of Senior ML Scientists.
- Drive innovations by identifying new data and ML applications for credit risk.
- Influence strategic decisions and product roadmaps with cross-functional leadership.
- Spearhead continuous development of tooling, methodologies, and processes.
- Champion model quality, efficiency, and safe, scalable growth.
- Collaborate with other modelling teams on best practices and technology.
