Requirements
- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain distributed data systems in a cloud-based environment.
- Hands-on experience with big data frameworks such as Spark or Databricks.
- Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong software engineering fundamentals including clean, testable code.
- Ability to navigate trade-offs between scalability, performance, resilience, and cost.
- English proficiency at C1 level or above.
- Polish language skills at B2 level or above.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement large-scale distributed data systems and pipelines.
- Drive technical decision-making across batch and streaming data solutions.
- Explore and integrate new data orchestration tools and cloud-native solutions.
- Contribute to platform-wide initiatives for reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.
- Take shared ownership of data systems from design through deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build customer-focused features.
- Mentor engineers and champion best practices.
