Requirements
- Fluent in production Go development.
- Deep experience in bare metal operations (Redfish, IPMI, PXE).
- Background in bare-metal-as-a-service, AI Cloud, or hyperscaler platforms.
- Proficiency in designing services and APIs.
- Experience with server consoles (iDRAC, ILO).
- Strong understanding of failure modes, telemetry, and system recoverability.
- Proven experience being on-call for production systems.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to architecture decisions and roadmap for bare metal provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Build Go services for hardware abstraction via Redfish, IPMI, and PXE.
- Own end-to-end hardware discovery, inventory, provisioning, configuration, and reclamation.
- Translate traditional server management into Kubernetes-native patterns.
- Partner with engineering teams to debug and harden production workloads.
- Participate in on-call rotations for maintained systems.
