Requirements
- Production-grade Go programming skills.
- Design and implementation experience for clean services, APIs, and libraries.
- Shipped systems driving servers via Redfish and IPMI in production.
- End-to-end understanding of PXE boot.
- Experience with bare-metal-as-a-service offerings, AI Clouds, or hyperscaler platforms.
- Familiarity with IPMI, iDRAC, and ILO consoles.
- Experience with production failure modes, telemetry, and recoverability.
- History of being on-call for systems built.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to architecture decisions and drive the roadmap for bare metal provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Build Go services that turn raw hardware into APIs.
- Design and ship systems driving Redfish, IPMI, and PXE workflows in production.
- Own server discovery, inventory, provisioning, configuration, and reclamation workflows.
- Translate between traditional out-of-band server management and Kubernetes-native patterns.
- Partner with customer engineering to debug, harden, and ship against production workloads.
- Provide on-call support for developed systems.
