Requirements
- 3-5 years of estimating experience in heavy civil work, site development, or demolition
- Experience on mid-to-large-scale projects ($500K - $5M+)
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze detailed civil engineering plans and specifications
- Experience identifying scope gaps, compliance issues, and feasibility concerns
- Proficiency with Excel
- Familiarity with takeoff software such as PlanSwift
- Neutral English accent and clear verbal communication skills
- Prior experience working remotely for U.S.-based contractors strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough review and stress testing of complex bid packages to identify missing scope, requirements, and potential financial risks
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimation using existing software systems and Excel
- Extract and analyze critical project requirements from specifications, schedules, and addendums
- Collaborate with the primary estimator and ownership team on bid assembly and final bid preparation
- Support coordination between estimating workflows and third-party estimators
- Manage material cost research and vendor pricing coordination
