Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or degree from a technical college.
- Minimum of seven years of related experience and/or training.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail, and Revit applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a passion for collaboration.
- Fluency in Japanese.
Responsibilities
- Review design proposal criteria and facilitate preparation of proposal documents.
- Provide research regarding project design, code, and regulatory requirements.
- Consult with customers to determine functional and spatial requirements.
- Prepare project layouts and integrate engineering elements into unified designs.
- Responsible for QA/QC of design documents across all disciplines.
- Prepare and administer design contracts.
- Facilitate design reviews and presentations.
- Manage design schedules and estimate A/E project costs.
- Monitor project design activities for compliance with standards.
- Manage all administrative and cost-control tasks related to design.
