Requirements
- 3-8 years of underwriting experience in the respective product.
- Established network of brokers, carriers, underwriters, or clients in management or professional liability insurance.
- Expertise in specialty liability products including rating procedures, policy forms, and applications.
- Ability to build profitable, long-term partnerships with brokerages.
- Confidence in presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in sales and account management practices.
- Proven track record of hitting monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- College degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Flexibility for travel (minimum once per month).
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed underwriting performance and revenue goals.
- Price accounts with competitive terms quickly and accurately.
- Manage quote-related communications.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team on complex accounts.
- Provide market feedback to improve terms, rates, and guidelines.
- Bind accounts through continuous broker engagement.
- Represent the company at broker meetings and industry events.
- Contribute to product roadmap and tool development.
