Requirements
- 5+ years building and working with data services in Microsoft Azure
- Significant experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, Azure Synapse, or Azure Fabric
- Strong data modeling skills including Dimensional modeling, Star Schema, and Kimball methodologies
- Experience using data modeling tools such as ER Studio or ERwin
- Strong experience designing and implementing lakehouse architectures
- SQL expertise for querying, data transformation, and performance tuning
- Experience with CI/CD, environment segmentation, and production deployments
- Familiarity with DataOps standards and testing frameworks
- Experience working in an agile software development environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Partner with Trility clients, taking them from napkin to production
- Listen to client challenges with empathy
- Lead discussions and provide oversight on Data Model design
- Design and implement lakehouse architectures using Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, or Fabric OneLake
- Structure data lakes for performance, governance, and efficient retrieval
- Query, transform, and performance tune using SQL
- Apply software engineering best practices including CI/CD and environment segmentation
- Gather requirements independently and translate business questions into technical requirements
