Requirements

  • Technical background in Postgres/SQL, Linux, sysadmin, backend or platform engineering, DevOps, or database work.
  • Ability to read stack traces and query plans.
  • Experience reasoning about auth flows, storage, serverless functions, real-time systems, or vector workloads.
  • Previous experience leading a technical team (support, SRE, platform, engineering).
  • Ability to provide actionable feedback and conduct 1:1 meetings effectively.
  • Proficiency in operational metrics like FRT, MTR, and CSAT.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English.
  • Strong customer instinct and interest in developer-facing products.

Responsibilities

  • Represent APAC for the global team.
  • Lead as part of the global leadership group with shared standards and playbooks.
  • Regularly handle support tickets to stay sharp and maintain visibility.
  • Partner with EMEA and AMER peers on coverage, escalations, and handoffs.
  • Collaborate directly with Engineering and Product as a peer to turn user feedback into product improvements.
  • Raise the technical bar for the team by providing guidance on Postgres, platform debugging, and system analysis.
  • Build and maintain playbooks and runbooks for the support team.
  • Mentor and support the professional growth of team members.
