Requirements
- 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, ideally in the oil industry or Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
- Expertise in Cyber Compliance Assessments and regulatory standards including NIST 800-171, CMMC, and DFARS.
- Proven track record of assessing threats and vulnerabilities from a business and technical perspective.
- Experience developing strategic enterprise information security and IT risk and privacy management programs.
- Experience supporting customer-facing products.
- Strong communication skills for engagement with technical staff, management, and executives.
- Ability to work as a self-starter and lead tasks independently.
Responsibilities
- Develop, drive, and implement overall information security program goals, objectives, and policies.
- Establish security architecture standards and implement technical controls.
- Drive domestic and international projects to meet cyber security, data protection, and privacy requirements.
- Monitor and assess organizational compliance with policies and third-party requirements.
- Oversee incident response planning, data loss prevention, and breach remediation.
- Implement ongoing risk assessment programs and oversee vulnerability testing.
- Coordinate and deliver security reporting and assessments for regulatory agencies and clients.
- Participate in project initiatives to ensure security controls are integrated into development lifecycles.
