Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in the NDT industry
  • Current ASNT Level III certifications in multiple methods including MT, PT, UTT, LT, MFL, and ET
  • Experience developing, writing, reviewing, and implementing NDT procedures
  • Experience supporting technician certification and qualification programs
  • Deep knowledge of industry codes including ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, SNT-TC-1A, and CP-189
  • Experience conducting technical audits and compliance reviews
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical discipline preferred
  • Proficiency with office tools and quality management systems

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, revise, and approve NDT procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation
  • Serve as corporate Level III authority for multiple NDT methods, including MT, PT, UTT, LT, MFL, and Eddy Current testing
  • Standardize and implement NDT quality programs across regions
  • Provide technical guidance on codes, standards, and inspection methodologies
  • Support technician certification and qualification programs in alignment with SNT-TC-1A, CP-189, NAS-410
  • Conduct technical and quality audits of field operations and personnel
  • Evaluate emerging NDT technologies and methodologies
  • Partner with leadership to identify training needs
  • Support customer audits and technical reviews
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
