Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in public policy analysis, healthcare policy, financial modeling, business analysis, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare systems, preferably Medicaid programs and state-level policy environments.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets.
- Ability to interpret and evaluate the impact of policy changes on healthcare providers, costs, and outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex findings for diverse audiences.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a data-driven or policy-oriented environment.
- Master’s degree in Public Policy, Health Policy, Public Health, Public Administration, or related fields preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of performance-based incentive measures supporting medical home care models and value-based care initiatives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to public sector stakeholders, guiding program direction, policy interpretation, and operational tradeoffs.
- Translate business, policy, and operational needs into clear analytical, data, and system requirements for implementation.
- Conduct in-depth research on national healthcare incentive models and Medicaid program methodologies to recommend improvements.
- Assess the financial, operational, and clinical impact of policy and metric changes on providers and healthcare delivery systems.
- Collaborate with data and analytics teams to evaluate large datasets, interpret trends, and refine reimbursement and performance methodologies.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and policy briefs for internal leadership, state clients, and technical teams.
