Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, ADIT, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 5–7 years of experience in international taxation, preferably in consulting firms or multinational organizations.
  • Strong expertise in Indian tax laws, including Income Tax, GST, transfer pricing, FEMA, DTAA, and withholding tax regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with Singapore tax compliance, including IRAS e-filing, corporate tax filings, and GST processes.
  • Proven experience in cross-border tax advisory and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and structure solutions accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of international tax frameworks and evolving regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate tax, withholding tax, GST, and other compliance requirements for entities in India and Singapore.
  • Provide advisory support on cross-border transactions, including intercompany arrangements, royalties, dividends, and service agreements.
  • Interpret and apply Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA) and foreign tax credit provisions to ensure tax efficiency and compliance.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain transfer pricing documentation in line with applicable regulations.
  • Support international tax structuring, business expansion initiatives, and new market entry strategies.
  • Assess permanent establishment (PE) risks and recommend mitigation strategies to reduce tax exposure.
  • Manage tax audits, assessments, notices, and communications with tax authorities in India and Singapore.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and internal stakeholders on complex tax matters.
  • Monitor global tax regulatory developments (OECD/BEPS) and evaluate their business impact.
  • Prepare tax memos, technical position papers, and presentations for senior leadership.
