Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in technical leadership roles.
- Proven hands-on experience building AI, machine learning, or NLP systems in production.
- Strong expertise with LLM integrations, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration.
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native architecture, specifically within AWS.
- Experience with serverless, containers, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, C#, .NET, or React.
- Demonstrated success delivering highly available software products.
- Experience leading engineering teams through growth and transformation.
- Strong background managing external development partners and technology vendors.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture, development, and continuous evolution of a complex AI-native software platform.
- Define and enforce architectural standards across AI systems.
- Actively contribute to engineering efforts through design reviews, code reviews, and technical prototyping.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of core platform services and integrations.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team.
- Establish engineering best practices and operational excellence standards.
- Manage engineering resources, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Define, monitor, and improve key engineering performance indicators.
- Collaborate with product and business leaders to align technical roadmaps.
- Contribute to broader AI strategy initiatives and responsible AI practices.
