Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering.
- 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Advanced knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages: Java, NodeJS, Python, Angular, React.
- Experience with IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Expertise in AWS serverless services and AI technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud security, compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOC 2), and observability (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Understanding of multi-cloud strategies and hybrid architectures.
- Proven experience in SaaS or product-driven organizations.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute cloud engineering strategy aligned with SaaS product goals.
- Implement IaC, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines to optimize delivery.
- Establish product performance metrics, observability, and KPIs.
- Manage cloud cost operations, departmental budgets, and vendor oversight.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, overseeing talent management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate cloud solutions into SaaS offerings.
- Champion innovation in cloud software development and AI/ML adoption.
- Direct software engineering across the full lifecycle and release management.
- Establish standards for quality, disaster recovery, and data protection.
