- 10–15+ years of progressive public accounting experience
- Exceptional technical tax acumen
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and develop talent
- Strong client-facing skills
- Accounting knowledge sufficient to serve as a resource for staff
- Partnership-heavy tax experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as the firm’s primary technical tax resource, providing expert guidance on complex tax matters across a diverse client base
- Review approximately 450–550 tax returns annually
- Act as a sounding board for accounting-related questions from staff and managers
- Manage and develop 1–2 Tax Managers
- Maintain strong, direct relationships with clients
- Sign off on tax returns with full authority
- Collaborate with firm leadership on technical matters and process improvement
