Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience, with at least 3 years directly managing remote or virtual frontline healthcare staff.
  • Experience managing centralized or virtual care teams such as CHWs, care coordinators, medical assistants, LPNs, or RNs.
  • Proven experience in day-to-day staff oversight, performance management, and accountability.
  • Familiarity with care management platforms, outreach tools, or call center environments (e.g., Dialpad, 8x8, Salesforce, Hubspot).
  • Experience in value-based care, population health, care management, or managed care is preferred.
  • Prior experience building or scaling teams in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and adapt to evolving programs.
  • Strong operator with a bias toward action, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Passionate about improving outcomes for cardiology patients and providers.

Responsibilities

  • Direct day-to-day work, task assignment, and daily check-ins for care team staff.
  • Manage schedules, PTO, and coverage planning.
  • Own operational relationships with staffing partners, including sourcing and performance escalations.
  • Hire, onboard, and train team members as the team scales.
  • Build and maintain daily operating rhythms such as team huddles and output check-ins.
  • Monitor performance against contractual SLAs and productivity targets.
  • Audit quality and address performance issues via direct conversations.
  • Partner with Program Operations to design and pressure-test new care program workflows.
  • Integrate workflows with product, data, and payer requirements.
