Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working with Government Contracts (IT, Construction, Defense, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with DCAA, FARs, CAS, and other Federal Compliance standards.
- Ability to train junior team members on federal compliance.
- Knowledgeable with HR policies.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated team management and interpersonal skills.
- Technology savvy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in an open, fast-paced environment under pressure.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new technology tools.
Responsibilities
- Maintain client books on a real time basis.
- Prepare financial statements under US GAAP.
- Assist in compliance with developing controls, policies, and procedures.
- Liaise with HR on all payroll related matters.
- Collaborate with other SGP divisions on special projects.
- Provide information to external accountants for audit, tax return preparation.
- Coordinate with other client company partners (vendors, insurance carriers, etc.).
- Assist leadership in budget preparation, monitoring, and performance measurement.
- Track projects and provide critical analysis of project costs.
- Support in cash flow management.
