Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in direct damage and liability claims.
- Valid Quebec claims adjuster's license (personal and commercial).
- Experience or interest in bodily injury claims.
- Bilingual (French and English) proficiency.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify cause-and-effect dynamics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities.
- Ability to handle pressure and conflicts calmly.
- Proficiency with computers and current technology.
Responsibilities
- Contact and follow up with policyholders and claimants.
- Investigate claim causes and report findings to clients.
- Identify liability exposures and recommend reserves.
- Recommend investigation strategies and prepare action plans.
- Negotiate fair and satisfactory settlements.
- Provide high-level customer service throughout the claims process.
- Perform duties in compliance with work standards, policies, and procedures.
