Requirements
- Extensive professional software engineering experience building web applications
- Previous formal people management or successful team leadership experience
- Proven ability to collaborate with and mentor other engineers
- Strong, hands-on technical approach
- Ability to drive delivery within predefined goal-setting and execution frameworks
- Experience in React & Ember frontends with Python & Java backends (preferred)
- Exceptional at bridging the gap between technical details and business outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and technical excellence.
- Work in partnership with global product managers and technical partners to translate business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Drive the team’s output by staying active in the codebase—writing production code and performing deep code reviews.
- Actively coach and mentor junior and senior engineers.
- Conceive of, develop, and deliver novel solutions within a sophisticated and rich domain area.
- Build both within the primary Navigator application and in other parts of Addepar's product ecosystem.
