Requirements
- 4–6 years of accounting experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS company or public accounting
- Hands-on experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition in a SaaS environment
- Strong GL accounting foundation including intercompany and multi-entity close
- Experience managing the full AR cycle including DSO improvement
- Excel proficiency: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliation builds
- Self-starter mentality with ability to manage priorities without close oversight
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
Responsibilities
- Own the month-end GL close, including revenue recognition under ASC 606, deferred revenue schedules, prepaids, accruals, and fixed assets
- Manage accounts receivable and collections across US and international customers
- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions across U.S., French, and UK entities
- Own sales tax collection and remittance via Avalara
- Support audit preparation and serve as an active participant in the upcoming audit process
- Manage customer invoicing and collections in Maxio, including complex contract scenarios
- Identify process gaps and fix them to improve close speed and data quality
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and People Ops
