Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- 10+ years in beverage, beer, distributor, supplier, or CPG sales.
- Proven track record leading a team and driving sales growth.
- Experience in the beer or alcohol category (three-tier system).
- Technical capability with internal (VIP, Karma) and external (syndicated data, distributor reporting) data sources.
- Ability to generate business insights and create visual stories from data.
- Must be able to travel primarily within the multi-state region and for industry events.
Responsibilities
- Foster a winning, family-like culture with a growth mindset.
- Manage a team of Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales Managers, and Field Sales Reps.
- Develop direct reports through goal setting, metrics, performance management, and career development.
- Partner with wholesalers and internal leadership to deliver maximum revenue and margin.
- Build capabilities within teams and wholesale partners to maximize marketplace execution.
- Drive consistency in wholesaler execution and internal revenue model compliance.
- Lead annual planning for distribution, volume, and investment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with national accounts, field marketing, finance, and operations.
