Requirements
- 6+ years of professional engineering experience
- Deep, hands-on AWS experience (EKS/Kubernetes, EC2, Lambda, RDS)
- Strong CI/CD and release-engineering background
- Containerization experience using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience building developer tooling
- Comfort working in a Python/Django codebase
- Experience with modern observability and monitoring tooling
- Fluent in secrets management, IAM/access control, and dependency hygiene
- Hands-on PCI-DSS or SOC 2 experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Own and unify the platform and infrastructure that powers our core products and services.
- Build the tooling, paved roads, and self-service workflows for engineering teams.
- Own CI/CD and release automation.
- Own feature-flag, configuration, secrets, and reliability of background-job/caching/queue systems.
- Improve observability through structured logging, error monitoring, and APM.
- Share in the on-call rotation for platform and infrastructure services.
- Manage platform security guardrails including secrets, IAM, and PCI/PII data handling.
- Automate compliance and audit readiness including PCI-DSS and SOC 2.
- Set technical direction for platform and security using infrastructure-as-code.
