Requirements
- Experience with vulnerability discovery and security testing in blockchain protocols.
- Strong threat modeling experience for distributed cryptographic systems.
- Direct experience assessing cross-chain protocols or threshold signature schemes.
- Deep working knowledge of applied cryptography.
- Mastery of blockchain security and secure coding practices.
- Proficiency with security testing tools, including static/dynamic analysis and fuzzing.
- Ability to read, review, and audit cryptographic code in Rust and/or Java.
- Understanding of memory safety and constant-time correctness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end security assessments of blockchain-based systems.
- Own threat modeling and security architecture reviews.
- Identify real-world vulnerabilities through code reviews and adversarial testing.
- Develop proof-of-concept exploits for smart contracts and consensus-layer components.
- Partner with engineering teams to remediate protocol-level risks.
- Build and improve security tooling, fuzzing infrastructure, and CI/CD security automation.
- Track emerging Web3 attack patterns and drive mitigation strategies.
