  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations regarding employee payroll information.
  • Compensation Commission calculations and submissions (ESA).
  • Financial audit assistance (collate and submit supporting documentation as requested from Auditors).
  • BEE audit assistance (collate and submit supporting documentation as requested from BEE Auditors) (ESA).
  • SARS audits on payroll (submit supporting documentation. Finance available if guidance is needed) (ESA).
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports for management, including cost analysis, payroll summaries, and variance reports.
  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, data errors, and issues with payroll systems.
  • Work closely with HR teams to ensure accurate employee data and timely updates regarding new hires, terminations, salary changes, and benefit deductions.
  • Collaborate with local payroll providers to address payroll-related queries and resolve complex issues.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department for payroll journal entries and financial reporting.
  • Manage and maintain the global payroll system, including updates, upgrades, and configuration changes.
  • Implement new payroll features and functionalities as needed.
