- Ability to work sole charge with minimal oversight
- Strong reconciliation abilities
- Proven experience meeting deadlines across multiple tasks
- Experience maintaining organized financial documentation
- Leadership experience with other staff
- Minimum of five years’ NZ experience at a similar level
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing all of the accounting functions across the group of companies
- Managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inter-company charges
- Completing daily bank reconciliations and accounting journals
- Providing Month End Financial Reports to Management
- Filing GST and PAYE returns
- Managing quarterly bank covenant reporting with business performance commentary
- Providing Costing and Variance Analysis
- Preparing and overseeing budget and cashflow forecasts
- Improving internal financial processes and controls
- Leading finance-related meetings and training staff
