Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
- 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Proven success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Experience implementing scalable systems and automation.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and tax standards.
- Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Experience in e-commerce or multi-channel retail preferred.
- Collaborative mindset with ability to influence executive-level decisions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate, audit-ready financials by the 20th of each month.
- Build and maintain a 12-month rolling cash forecast, updated weekly.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across all departments.
- Develop automated systems to reduce manual reporting time by 25%.
- Implement initiatives to increase profitability and EBITDA by 2 percentage points.
- Create and document SOPs for all finance processes.
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions like ERPs to prepare for scale.
