Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
  • 3+ years experience in pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support
  • Ability to influence stakeholders based on technical sales acumen
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations
  • Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems
  • Experience with technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, and automation/control systems
  • Skilled in identifying customer value

Responsibilities

  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles
  • Create long lasting relationships with customers and become their trusted advisor
  • Work closely with the sales team to define strategy and approach
  • Become an expert on Samsara's value proposition
  • Articulate value proposition to prospects to solve industry obstacles
  • Perform discoveries, demonstrations, value assessments, and proof of concept implementations
  • Walk installers through best practices for hardware installation
  • Write and document sample proof-of-concept scripts using open APIs
