- Proven delivery of large distributed systems with technical leadership
- Strong system design skills (latency, consistency, availability, scaling, cost)
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures (microservices, containers, Kubernetes, IaC)
- Experience defining SLOs/SLIs and performing capacity planning
- Proficiency in Go, Python, C, C++, or Rust
- Practical experience folding AI-powered developer tools into team workflows
- Ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Improve performance, reliability, and efficiency of observability stack
- Manage internal engineering platform tools and Kubernetes clusters
- Participate in on-call rotations for production services
- Drive maturity and scalability in the Platform SysEng squad
- Write design docs and perform integration testing
- Collaborate across engineering squads to reduce region build timelines
