Requirements
- Proven delivery of large distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of system design tradeoffs (latency, consistency, scaling).
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures (microservices, Kubernetes, IaC).
- Ability to define SLOs/SLIs and drive reliability.
- Strong coding and design skills (Go preferred, or Python/C/C++/Rust).
- Experience with AI-powered developer tools.
- Influence without authority and cross-functional alignment skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Reduce new region build timelines to meet customer demands.
- Manage infrastructure for core Grafana products (Mimir, Loki, Tempo, etc.).
- Participate in on-call rotations for production services.
- Author design documents for platform projects.
- Incorporate and utilize Grafana product lineup into day-to-day work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to set priorities.
- Drive outcomes in a remote-first environment.
