Requirements
- Proven delivery of large distributed systems
- Experience shipping and operating complex systems spanning multiple teams
- Deep understanding of system design tradeoffs
- Solid experience with cloud-native architectures (microservices, containers/Kubernetes, IaC)
- Comfortable defining SLOs/SLIs and doing capacity planning
- Strong coding and design skills (Go preferred, or Python/C/C++/Rust)
- Practical experience with AI-powered developer tools
- Ability to align cross-functional stakeholders in a remote environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Scale platform performance and reliability
- Reduce new region build timelines
- Manage infrastructure for Grafana ecosystem tools
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Perform capacity planning and performance tuning
- Define SLOs and SLIs
- Write design docs and perform integration testing
- Lead technical designs and collaborate with stakeholders
