Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years managing software engineering teams
- Deep software development skills in Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with scalable, highly available cloud applications
- Experience with AWS cloud services (ECS, SNS, SQS, Lambda, RDS)
- Proficiency with observability, metrics, distributed tracing, and SLO/SLA management
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and iterative delivery
- Demonstrated experience driving strategic adoption of AI technologies
- CS/Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Manage one or more related teams of 6–10+ full-stack software engineers
- Lead cross-functional technical efforts across multiple teams
- Plan and deliver complex, end-to-end projects with high technical ambiguity
- Partner with product management, UX, and security to shape technical roadmaps
- Hire exceptional engineering talent and grow teams
- Mentor and coach individual contributors and managers
- Own quarterly and annual technical and operational goals
- Communicate effectively with executives and non-technical stakeholders
- Champion AI adoption in software and platform engineering
