Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience in automation testing
- Strong financial services domain exposure (3+ years preferred)
- Proven leadership experience in QA automation or SDET roles within complex, enterprise-scale environments
- Strong expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Rest Assured, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience building scalable UI/API automation frameworks using Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and test-driven development practices
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with microservices architecture, Spring/Spring Boot, and CI/CD pipeline development
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Define and lead enterprise-level QA automation and quality engineering strategy across multiple programs, ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives.
- Oversee end-to-end test lifecycle execution, including test planning, design, automation, regression, performance, and production validation.
- Drive the design and implementation of advanced automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing using modern tools and methodologies.
- Establish governance for BUAT (Business User Acceptance Testing), defect management, and release quality assurance processes.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for complex testing initiatives, ensuring scalable and efficient quality solutions.
- Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure seamless integration of testing practices across SDLC and Agile/Waterfall models.
- Own production release readiness, including weekend release support, incident validation, and post-deployment quality assurance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by adopting emerging technologies, best practices, and test engineering innovations.
