Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with strong focus on test automation
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks
- Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, Ruby, or Gherkin
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, Puppeteer, Postman, JMeter, or similar tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and services such as GitHub Actions and automated testing pipelines
- Experience with monitoring and support tools like Datadog, LambdaTest, SendGrid, or PagerDuty is a plus
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design principles, and quality control processes
- Experience with data-driven or security-focused testing is highly desirable
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and a strong quality-first mindset
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and regression test suites to support application functionality
- Execute and manage multiple testing types including smoke, regression, integration, performance, and API testing to ensure software quality
- Identify, document, and track defects while providing detailed analysis of failures and root causes
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and release cycles
- Maintain automation repositories using GitHub and integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and refinement sessions to support accurate delivery timelines
- Monitor application quality using tools and platforms such as Datadog, LambdaTest, and other testing/observability tools
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices across teams
- Participate in on-call rotations and ensure timely response to production issues when required
