Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with strong focus on test automation
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, Ruby, or Gherkin
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, Puppeteer, Postman, JMeter, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and services such as GitHub Actions and automated testing pipelines
  • Experience with monitoring and support tools like Datadog, LambdaTest, SendGrid, or PagerDuty is a plus
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design principles, and quality control processes
  • Experience with data-driven or security-focused testing is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong quality-first mindset

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and regression test suites to support application functionality
  • Execute and manage multiple testing types including smoke, regression, integration, performance, and API testing to ensure software quality
  • Identify, document, and track defects while providing detailed analysis of failures and root causes
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and release cycles
  • Maintain automation repositories using GitHub and integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and refinement sessions to support accurate delivery timelines
  • Monitor application quality using tools and platforms such as Datadog, LambdaTest, and other testing/observability tools
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices across teams
  • Participate in on-call rotations and ensure timely response to production issues when required
