Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
- Minimum of five years of experience within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or Contract Research Organization (CRO) sector.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of clinical research, drug development, and medical device development processes.
- Established network of industry contacts, particularly within dermatology and/or rheumatology clinical research.
- Ability to work closely with operational teams and align commercial objectives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development activities across assigned territories, driving revenue growth and achieving or exceeding sales objectives.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans, maintain accurate sales forecasts, and monitor business performance against targets.
- Build and strengthen relationships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device organizations.
- Present the organization's value proposition, capabilities, and service portfolio to prospective clients.
- Coordinate and participate in client meetings, capability presentations, bid defense meetings, and contract negotiations.
- Review project proposals and budgets, providing commercial input.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and refine commercial strategies.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, scientific meetings, and networking events.
