Requirements
- Proven experience designing and shipping complex SaaS, fintech, infrastructure, or developer-focused products
- Prior experience leading or mentoring product designers
- Strong craft skills across interaction design, visual design, and information architecture
- Demonstrated ability to own a product domain from early ambiguity through to shipped outcomes
- Experience working closely with Product and Engineering
- Ability to operate independently with high autonomy
- Strong systems thinking and comfort working in technically complex environments
Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end experience strategy and design quality bar for your product area
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of product designers through critique, coaching, and hands-on collaboration
- Contribute directly to product design work
- Partner as an equal with Product and Engineering leaders to shape roadmap direction and product decisions
- Lead research efforts to uncover user needs
- Strengthen and extend the design system
- Navigate complex trade-offs between ideal user experience, technical constraints, and operational realities
- Build and evolve design processes, critique standards, and delivery practices
