Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of project management experience.
- Alternatively, 4-year degree with 7+ years of experience in plant operations, maintenance, or capital project leadership.
- Technical knowledge of packaging systems, robotics, and industrial processing equipment.
- Experience managing capital projects, budgets, and process improvement initiatives.
- Understanding of mechanical or agricultural systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel 50–75%.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of capital projects focused on packaging equipment and process improvements across manufacturing and feed production facilities.
- Develop project scope, engineering designs, equipment specifications, and cost estimates.
- Manage end-to-end project execution, including contractor coordination, vendor selection, scheduling, and budget control.
- Conduct process evaluations, system audits, and in-plant testing.
- Validate performance outcomes of capital investments.
- Develop and maintain equipment standards and lifecycle projections.
- Recommend process optimization methods.
