Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in content creation, journalism, editorial work, or digital publishing.
- Strong background in writing and/or editing for online or print media.
- Excellent command of English.
- Solid understanding of journalism editing standards.
- Ability to create and adapt content across multiple formats (written, visual, multimedia).
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop, curate, screen, and edit digital content for an internet-based platform.
- Produce and refine a variety of content formats, including articles, video content, and advertising materials.
- Research regional and topical media sources to identify newsworthy angles and trends.
- Evaluate and screen content nominations for suitability.
- Apply journalism editing principles to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Perform technical publishing tasks in content management systems.
- Support operational content needs including flexible or on-call assignments.
