Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in a data-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, performance tuning, data modeling).
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one enterprise BI platform.
- Familiarity with modern data warehousing and cloud data platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools.
- Focus on data integrity and security.
- Proactive, independent working style.
Responsibilities
- Design and build SQL-based data models (dbt).
- Build and evolve the semantic and BI layer (LookML/Looker).
- Design rigorous testing, row-level security, and data access controls.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows (fundraising, fund management, distributions).
- Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance.
- Refactor and modernize data models and dashboards.
- Apply AI-assisted tools across the development lifecycle.
