Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related industry experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Web applications using modern javascript technologies (React, NodeJS, Typescript).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with scalable/high-performing backend systems or Backend-For-Frontends.
- Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL.
- Knowledge of modern automated testing and CI/CD pipelines (Buildkite or Jenkins).
- Strong engineering habits regarding test techniques, security, and automation.
- Experience in triaging and solving production issues.
- Experience with iterative development, Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and deploy new features using GraphQL, NodeJS, React, Typescript, Playwright, ViTest and Buildkite.
- Own code, respond to incidents, participate in on-call rotation and perform RCAs.
- Meet Definition of Done for software builds.
- Refactor and reduce technical debt.
- Write automated unit and integration tests in a continuous integration and delivery environment.
- Manage work through GitHub, Jira, and build/deploy systems.
- Collaborate with Product leadership to influence and improve the platform.
- Participate in design/code reviews, backlog refinements, and agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot and determine resolution for domain-specific issues.
- Document projects.
