Requirements
- Hands-on experience with production identity or auth systems.
- Expertise in OAuth 2.0/OIDC, SAML, JWT, and token/key rotation.
- Knowledge of authorization models like RBAC and ABAC.
- Experience operating distributed systems in production.
- Proficiency in Go programming language.
- Collaborative skills across cross-functional engineering and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve core parts of Temporal Cloud's identity platform.
- Implement authentication (OAuth 2.0/OIDC, SAML) and authorization (RBAC and policy-based access).
- Maintain high performance and reliability of the auth path through caching, token handling, and revocation.
- Integrate with enterprise identity providers like Okta, Entra ID, and Google Workspace.
- Support user provisioning via SCIM.
- Partner with Security, Product, and platform teams on IAM lifecycle and audit practices.
- Write technical documentation and contribute to architectural direction.
