Requirements
- Active CPA license
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in a leadership role
- Experience in SaaS or technology industry
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 and deferred revenue
- Familiarity with private equity-backed environments and lender covenants
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and financial controls
- Proficiency with Excel and financial systems (Sage Intacct, NetSuite)
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple entities
- Validate monthly license revenue and recognition per ASC 606
- Manage General Ledger reviews and balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee cash management and monitor banking covenants
- Coordinate annual audits and support tax preparation
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly investor reporting
- Collaborate with FP&A on budgeting and forecasting
- Administer accounting tech stack (Sage Intacct, Maxio, Tipalti)
- Mentor and develop accounting team members
