Requirements

- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) preferred
- 10+ years of experience in biotech or life sciences operations
- 3–5+ years of senior leadership experience in high-growth environments
- Proven experience scaling operational systems and processes
- Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and KPIs
- Deep knowledge of QMS, SOP development, and audit readiness
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
- Strong project and change management capabilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic operational partner to executive leadership
- Lead operational planning, KPI tracking, and performance reporting
- Oversee finance-adjacent operations such as forecasting and budgeting
- Design and improve systems, processes, and tools for scalability
- Maintain quality and compliance frameworks including QMS and SOPs
- Ensure enterprise-wide compliance across legal and regulatory domains
- Manage cross-functional areas including facilities, IT, and procurement
- Oversee relationships with external partners like CROs and CMOs
- Lead contract negotiation and sourcing
- Manage and develop the Operations team
