- Experience with insurance appeals, payer navigation, lab result review, medication management, or medical documentation review
- Familiarity with patient portal systems such as MyChart or FollowMyHealth
- Comfort preparing medical timelines, pre-visit briefs, appeal letters, symptom logs, and care coordination notes
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to follow structured instructions and produce evidence-based work
- Degree or professional background in nursing, healthcare administration, public health, or health information management
Responsibilities
- Review health administration scenarios involving medical timelines, appointment preparation, care history, visit summaries, and required documentation
- Organize medical events, visit details, symptoms, treatments, and follow-up items into structured timelines
- Support preparation or review of pre-appointment briefs based on provided source materials
- Identify missing documentation, clinical details, care coordination needs, and next steps
- Review medication schedules, lab summaries, symptom logs, and patient portal materials
- Evaluate health documentation against reference ranges, medication rules, and source materials
- Prepare written explanations for health documentation decisions
- Review insurance appeals, payer documentation, and administrative health records
- Evaluate appeal letters and approval or denial criteria based on provided materials
