Requirements
- Experienced in ML research, alignment research, or both.
- Deeply passionate about AI alignment and the possibility of genuine progress.
- Excellent proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
- Strong knowledge of the modern deep learning stack.
- Experience building, training, or evaluating deep learning models.
- Comfortable using AI model APIs via REST or client libraries.
- Ability to decompose complex problems into concrete, testable experiments.
- AI-native workflow habits using automation tools.
- Strong English communication skills for technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Execute research on AI alignment, including pretraining interventions and interpretability.
- Decompose complex, high-stakes problems into concrete and testable experiments.
- Collaborate with external researchers from academia and industry to develop research results.
- Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment to deliver technical solutions.
- Communicate technical research progress and results to various audiences.
