Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation completed or in the final stages of completion.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (GAAP and IFRS).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formula logic).
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end month-end activities.
- Experience preparing full sets of financial statements.
- Strong understanding of supporting schedules (deferred revenue, intercompany, FX).
- People leadership experience, including mentoring and delegating.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the global month-end close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial results.
- Review and approve journal entries, supporting calculations, and account reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Prepare internal financial reporting and variance analysis for leadership.
- Own and complete the global month-end checklist.
- Serve as the accounting system administrator.
- Uphold IFRS, regional GAAP, and internal accounting policy requirements.
- Manage statutory remittances and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support for team development.
